For those of you who cared - You asked and here she is, with a little (lot of) help. Thanks to the lovely lady who helped me compile a pool of "Lilahs" to choose from. We found her! :o)

For those of you who hate Lilah - now you have something to throw darts at.
OMG! Laughing so hard! "throw darts at." What is weird to me, this is actually pretty close to what I imagined her too look like... with a few more scars. FUN!

ReplyDeleteLike the new banner. The only problem, I have is that Lilah is too pretty. Please don't take that the wrong way, I love Lilah and it's no insult. One of the aspects of this story that I like was that Lilah was "average". She's wasn't your classic beauty, she was one of us. We could all be Lilah. Didn't Mike call her a half a pork chop? (hated that!) that woman in the banner is not half a pork chop, she's beautiful. There is no way Sambora would have let Tony get Lilah, if she looked like that. There would have been a fight on their hands :)

DeleteI also expected her to be not as attractive and to have lighter coloured hair. Maybe this Lilah just photographs well.

ReplyDeleteAgreeing with the others here, this is not how I pictured Lilah at all. She was always written as not pretty, chubby and plain but it's your story and your Lilah.
ReplyDeleteLilah was never described as chubby, homely or ugly. She was always described as average. Average height, weight. Just a woman. The one thing that made Lilah stand out was her smile, which Tony has been known to say made her beautiful. This woman's smile lights her up from the inside. She's not stunning. She's not classically beautiful. She's real and she's happy to be next to this man.

I too saw her as chubby from the time that they were first together. Lilah told Tony that she didn't have a good body and Tony described stretch marks when he saw her but said it didn't bother him because it showed how she had a baby etc etc. Also from Mike calling her a pork chop and Lilah thinking he was laughing at her, it came across that she wasn't that pretty but also clumsy and shy, always playing with her ear-ring.
